Pefkos has a good variety of restaurants serving a variety of Greek, Italian and International cuisine. There are no touts trying to draw you in, the quality of the food speaks for itself. Although it's very laid back and no-one is forcing you from your position by the pool or on the beach, popular things to do in Pefkos include the Glass Bottom Boat trip, climbing the mountain to Prophet Ilias and joining Nikos in his Microlite Aircraft. More Details here.
Pefkos is about a 50 minute drive from Rhodes Diagoras Airport. If you are on a tour operator transfer bus, the time will depend on how many stops and where these stops are.
The resort season starts in late April, and runs until late October.
From mid June until mid September expect really hot days, and very warm evenings; the evening dress code is still mainly shorts and shirts for men, and dreeses, shirt or shorts for the ladies - no cardigan needed June - September.
In the early and late part of the season, it can get sometimes chilly in the evenings.
